KBC supports three Aboriginal businesses

Aug 19th 2014

Keogh Bay has been funded by Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet to provide business support services to a Goldfields-based Aboriginal business. The funding has come through the Commonwealth Government’s new Indigenous Advancement Strategy – Jobs, Land and Economy Programme (JLEP) to provide business planning and support services to an Aboriginal business that provides support services to a large international miner in the Goldfields region of WA. This is Keogh Bay’s first appointment under the Government’s new Indigenous Advancement Strategy and we very much look forward to getting started and achieving some positive outcomes for our clients.

In other business support news, Keogh Bay has also been funded by Morrgul (http://morrgul.com.au/) to assist an Aboriginal technology business to develop a range of health and safety systems in support of their aims to land work in the mining and construction sectors. We have also been assisting in the development of a feasibility study and business plan for an exciting new Aboriginal retailing venture. This work has been done pro-bono.
